Who would be your target audience?

I wrote out some questions that I asked a group of friends, asking them, would they buy my magazine and why.  Here are some of their answers:

Question: Would you buy my magazine and why?

Selene: I would buy it because I think that it covers some interesting bands and features.
Abby: I would buy it because it looks interesting and appealing to me and also their are some bands featured in it that I listen to.
Jarit:  I would buy it because it is very eye catching and looks interesting to read and also I would be willing to read the articles featured in it.
Rhiain:  I would consider buying it because it has some interesting bands and also new music but i don't usually read/buy magazines.

Lesson Reflection

In this lesson, I have edited my blog and put on the things that were missing, such as, time management posts.  I have uploaded my final front cover, contents page and double page spread on to my blog and I have continued to upload my evaluation questions

DPS Update

 

I have edited my DPS by adding in who made the article and also who had taken the photos.  I have also added in the masthead at the bottom of the page along with the website for the magazine next to the page numbers because the bottom looked plain and didn't look appealing.  I have also added stroke to the extra information. 

Front Cover Update

I have edited my front cover so I have changed the 'win!' and made it bigger and I have also changed the colour of the main sell line to yellow because the red didn't look quite right.  I have moved the essential information to the bottom where the barcode is and also moved the website to the top of the page.  I think that this looks better because your attention is drawn to the main image and also the main sell line.

Lesson Reflection

This lesson, I have been working on my evaluation and i have finished the first question so next lesson I will be moving on to the second question and i still need to edit my magazine.

Contents Page Update

I have changed the features for my contents page because I felt that it didn't look professional enough of a magazine. I have also added the website at the bottom of the page and I have moved 'Real Gone' down the the information box so that it didn't look like it is a different part because the title and text weren't together.  I still have to add an editor's note at the bottom of the page but that should be done within the next few days.

In this lesson, I plan on carrying on with the evaluation questions and also editing my final product.
